Make Your Landmark with Hanna Benihoud Studio, Way-Finding for OPDC

During Summer 2021 we were exited to join forces with Hanna Benihoud Studio to deliver a series of unique public art commissions for The Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC), as part of the Great Place Scheme and funded by Arts Council England and National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Inspired by experiences and stories from local residents, youth groups, businesses, poets and artists, collectively reimagined as a modern-day fairy tale of the area, we delivered an array of hyper-local, micro way-finding landmarks to help create a renewed sense of identity and pride in the area.

The project, titled ‘Make Your (Land) Mark’ appearing on bridges, billboards, hoardings, a poster campaign and sculptures, aims to celebrate the area as a hidden gem of the city and through collaboration and creative  engagement, empower the local community to feel like they have agency over their environment. It also featured in the 2021 London Design Festival and the Park Royal Design District.
