PRODUCE UK attends the Global Eventex Awards
The Produce UK team attended the 7th Global Eventex Awards in Dublin at the end of January, where we scooped three awards for our campaign work in 2016 including:
Best Cause Event – 2nd prize for the Artful Taxdodgers campaign for 38 Degrees
Best Experiential – 3rd prize for the Hyundai FanDome campaign for Hyundai Motor UK
People’s Choice – 3rd prize for the Artful Taxdodgers campaign for 38 Degrees
The Eventex Awards honour event professionals, promoters and live communications specialists around the world for their achievements and accomplishments in producing cutting-edge live event experiences. We also attended the masterclasses at Eventex, which went on throughout the duration of the supporting conference and we met some fascinating event professionals from all over Europe including in Germany and Holland. The Eventex Awards adds to our recent ‘Event Agency of the Year’ award win from The Drum UK Event Awards.
Our visit to Dublin also gave us the excuse to return to the wonderful Number 31 hotel in the heart of Dublin, designed by 1970’s architect Sam Stephenson who was most famous for his Brutalist style designs. The sunken living room at Number 31 and the unique layout of the space, which is a classical Georgian townhouse connected to a modernist mews property, made it the perfect place for us to recover after a great night. We also found time to explore The Douglas Hyde Gallery and the National Gallery of Ireland – designed by Benson and Forsyth Architects.
